Abstract

São reveladas composições retardantes de chama, que incluem um polímero base, um enchimento retardante de chama e um agente sinérgico retardante de chama. As composições retardantes de chama são isentas de halogênio e isentas de metais pesados e podem ser reticuladas para formar uma camada de isolamento de cabo ou um invólucro de cabo. Os cabos podem passar no teste de chama UL VW-1. Cabos com revestimentos formados a partir de tais composições retardantes de chama também são aqui descritos.
