Os artigos apresentam uma Razão de Abrasão de Bayer de pelo menos 2 e propriedades fotocrômicas desejáveis, isto é, a formação de cores ativadas mais escuras e taxas mais rápidas de ativação fotocrômica e de desbotamento quando irradiados com luz ultravioleta.
