Abstract
Uma prótese articulada, deixada no coração do paciente para reparar uma válvula tricúspide ou mitral, é concebida de modo a agarrar simultaneamente todos os três folhetos da válvula tricúspide ou os dois da válvula mitral, de modo a mantê-los distendidos completamente no plano de válvula e assumir uma configuração final como no procedimento cirúrgico comum. Também é descrito um dispositivo de captura relacionado e um dispositivo para reparar uma válvula tricúspide ou mitral.
