Abstract
A invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de 1,4-bis(4-fenoxibenzoil)benzeno, compreendedo: ? apresentar uma mistura reacional compreendendo cloreto de tereftaloíla e éter difenílico em um solvente; ? adicionar um ácido de Lewis à mistura reacional, de forma a obter uma mistura como produto; em que a temperatura da mistura reacional é maior que 5°C durante pelo menos parte da etapa de adição do ácido de Lewis à mistura reacional.
