Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a uma vedação mecânica possuindo uma parte rotativa e uma parte não rotativa, a parte rotativa possuindo pelo menos um anel deslizante rotativo (24) e um transportador do anel deslizante rotativo, e a parte não rotativa possuindo pelo menos um anel deslizante não rotativo (36) e um transportador do anel deslizante não rotativo (34), no qual a vedação mecânica é provida com uma ranhura circunferencial (54, 58) em um do anel deslizante rotativo (24) e do anel deslizante não rotativo, e um sensor (62) em comunicação com a vedação mecânica (10).
