Trata-se de uma fibra de reforço enrijecida que inclui um tratamento de superfície disposto na mesma. O tratamento de superfície compreende pelo menos um formador de filme. A fibra de reforço enrijecida tem uma rigidez que é pelo menos 50% mais alta que uma outra fibra de reforço idêntica que não foi tratada em superfície.
