Abstract
A presente descrição refere-se a sistemas e métodos para determinar a taxa de filtração glomerular renal ou avaliar a função renal em um paciente em necessidade dos mesmos. O sistema inclui um dispositivo de computação, uma fonte de alimentação, um ou mais sensores e pelo menos um agente rastreador que fluoresce quando exposto à radiação eletromagnética. A radiação eletromagnética é detectada usando os sensores, e a taxa na qual a fluorescência diminui no paciente é usada para calcular a taxa de filtração glomerular renal no paciente.
