Uma manta de aquecimento (8) é revelada tendo uma camada externa de tecido metalizado e um elemento de aquecimento (23). O elemento de aquecimento é formado a partir de tinta metálica eletricamente condutora. A manta térmica também possui um tecido ou camada eletricamente isolante (18) que difunde o calor produzido pelo elemento de aquecimento.
