Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a composições antivirais, método de fabricação de tais composições e usos da composição. A presente composição é destinada a ser utilizada como um medicamento antiviral para aplicação tópica em áreas da pele ou membranas mucosas de mamíferos afetadas por um herpes vírus, em particular herpes vírus simples. A composição compreende íons de prata complexados com polímeros de poliamina, opcionalmente em combinação com outro agente antiviral. Pela presente invenção, as feridas podem ser tratadas com sucesso ou até mesmo seus surtos podem ser prevenidos.
