Abstract
Um dispositivo de energia rotacional de campo axial (31) pode incluir um rotor (33) compreendendo um eixo (35) de rotação e um ímã (37). Adicionalmente, um estator (141) pode ser coaxial com o rotor. O estator pode incluir uma pluralidade de segmentos de estator (142) que são acoplados entre si em torno do eixo. Cada segmento de estator pode incluir uma placa de circuito impresso (PCI) (145) com uma camada de PCI (147) compreendendo uma bobina (149). Cada segmento de estator também pode incluir apenas uma fase elétrica. O próprio estator pode incluir uma ou mais faseselétricas.
