Abstract
Esta invenção descreve composições e métodos para potencializar a produção de enduracidina em cepas geneticamente modificadas de Streptomyces fungicidicus. Em particular, a presente invenção descreve a manipulação genética de genes reguladores orf24 e orf18 associados ao cluster de genes da biossíntese de enduracidina (enramicina) de Streptomyces fungicidicus para gerar constructos vetoriais e cepas recombinantes produzindo maiores rendimentos de enduracidina.
