Abstract
Um composto precursor de um aldeído perfumado é provido, bem como um método de formação de tal composto, um "kit" compreendendo o dito composto, e seus certos usos. O composto precursor tem a fórmula (I), (I),em que A é um resíduo de hidrocarboneto de um aldeído perfumado A-CHO; e X e Y são independentemente selecionados do grupo que consiste em uma nitrila, um ceto, e um grupo funcional de éster. Um tal composto precursor é 2-acetil-4-metiltridec-2-enoato de etila enriquecido em seu isômero Z, que é um precursor termicamente estável de 2-metil undecanal.
