Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a alimentos funcionais consumíveis compreendendo um ou mais produtos de grãos de cacau e um extrato vegetal. A combinação de um produto de grãos de cacau e polifenol vegetal tem inesperada sinergia levando a um significativo benefício para a saúde. Além disso, a presente invenção descreve uma biodisponibilidade e uma eficácia de sinergia inesperadas de moléculas de polifenóis de extratos vegetais, que se desenvolvem durante um enriquecimento com os mesmos de produtos consumíveis, nos quais o chocolate é um ingrediente secundário ou não está presente de todo.
