Abstract
A invenção refere-se a uma resina de poliéster insaturado de baixo peso molecular que é útil para a preparação de pedra manipulada. Quando se mistura a resina de poliéster insaturado com um material particulado inorgânico fino, tal como cristobalite, obtém-se uma composição que pode ser processada e curada para finalmente produzir a pedra artificial como material compósito. A invenção também se refere a um método para a preparação de pedra de engenharia, bem como ao uso da resina de poliéster insaturado para a preparação de pedra de engenharia.
