Abstract
Trata-se de um processo para preparar um polímero de etileno que compreende homopolimerizar etileno ou copolimerizar etileno com um ou mais comonômeros em um reator de polimerização de fase gasosa que compreende uma unidade de tubo ascendente, na qual partículas de polímero em crescimento fluem para cima sob condições de fluidização, fluidização rápida ou transporte, e um tubo descendente, no qual partículas de polímero em crescimento fluem para baixo em uma forma densificada, sendo que a retenção de partículas de polímero no tubo descendente é de 55% em peso a 80% em peso da retenção total de partículas de polímero no reator de polimerização de fase gasosa.
