Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um atuador eletromagnético para uso em mecanismos de travamento que compreende um alojamento (8, 32, 36), uma pluralidade de bobinas (60, 62) e uma armadura (14), que é linearmente móvel em relação ao alojamento entre duas posições de final de deslocamento energizando-se seletivamente as bobinas do atuador. O atuador inclui um mecanismo de proteção contra falhas (6) que é operacional para incitar a armadura em direção a uma dentre as duas posições de final de deslocamento.
