Abstract
A invenção refere-se ao uso de sódio solúvel na fabricação de uma composição ou kit de partes para aprimorar e prolongar (terapeuticamente) os níveis de uridina no plasma sanguíneo e disponibilidade de uridina no tecido e/ou para tratar ou prevenir níveis de uridina no plasma sanguíneo e disponibilidade de uridina no tecido prejudicados e/ou para prevenir/tratar disfunções associadas à disponibilidade prejudicada de uridina no plasma sanguíneo e tecido, em um mamífero, preferencialmente um ser humano, coadministrando por via oral sódio solúvel e uridina em uma razão molar de sódio solúvel para uridina de mais de 1:1, preferencialmente mais de 1,5:1, mais preferencialmente mais de 2:1, ainda mais preferencialmente pelo menos 2,5:1, ainda mais preferencialmente pelo menos 2,8:1, mais preferencialmente 3:1 a 15:1, com a máxima preferência 3:1 a 10:1, particularmente 3:1 a 5:1.
