Abstract
São divulgadas moléculas de RNA de fita dupla que são tóxicas para insetos coleópteros. Em particular são proporcionadas moléculas de RNA de interferência capazes de interferir com genes alvo de pragas e que são tóxicas para a praga alvo. Adicionalmente, são divulgados métodos de preparação e uso do RNA de interferência, por exemplo em plantas transgênicas ou como o ingrediente ativo em uma composição, para conferir proteção contra danos causados por insetos.
