Abstract
Um feixe de tubos para um condensador de refrigerante evaporativo tendo uma pluralidade de tubos de passe único retos se estendendo entre um coletor de entrada de refrigerante e um coletor de saída de refrigerante, os referidos tubos tendo uma forma de seção transversal na forma de uma elipse tendo um eixo maior e um eixo menor, em que o referido eixo maior é mais longo que o referido eixo menor por um fator de 3 a 7, em que a quantidade de carga de refrigerante requerida para uma capacidade de troca de calor particular é substancialmente e inesperadamente reduzida resultando em um aumento substancial e inesperado na eficiência.
