Abstract
Um kit e método para determinar com precisão os níveis de concentração de ácido peracético em uma solução contendo um peróxido ou outro oxidante são descritos. Para determinar a concentração de ácido peracético na solução, um sistema de tampão de pH é usado para desativar altos níveis de um peróxido em uma solução desinfetante sem interferir com os níveis de ácido peracético ativo na solução. Pelo menos uma tira de teste é usada para medir a concentração de ácido peracético na solução. É fornecido um frasco de teste para combinar a solução com o tampão de pH antes de colocar em contato com a tira de teste.
