Abstract
A invenção refere-se a um conversor multinível modular (10) incluindo um módulo de controle (12) para regular a energia interna armazenada nos capacitores dos submódulos de um braço do conversor, sendo o módulo de controle adequado para limitar a energia interna abaixo de limite superior e/ ou acima de um limite inferior, utilizando parâmetros medidos na rede de fornecimento de energia de CC (110) e na rede de fornecimento de energia de CA (120) juntamente com pontos de ajuste para a energia de funcionamento do conversor.
