Abstract
SUPLEMENTOS NUTRICIONAIS.A presente invenção fornece suplementos nutricionais compreendendo alginato, em combinação com pectina, que formam hidrogéis no estômago quando expostos ao pH baixo do suco gástrico. A formação de um hidrogel levará à liberação retardada de açúcares e outros ingredientes ativos no estômago. Os suplementos nutricionais podem compreender altas concentrações de açúcares e carboidratos complexos sem causar sintomas gastrointestinais indesejáveis.
