Abstract

Trata-se de monóis poliéteres insaturados que são removidos de polióis poliéteres por reação com um composto de tiol ou um composto de politiol funcionalizados. Esse processo substitui a instauração terminal com um grupo funcional ou ainda acopla dois ou mais dos monóis paraformar um poliol. A funcionalidade do produto de poliol poliéter é aumentada através da remoção dos monóis.
