Abstract
Um dispositivo de troca de fase (29), um então chamado fase de came, é arranjado entre um eixo de manivela e ao menos uma árvore de cames (20, 23) para mudar ao menos uma posição rotacional da árvore de cames (20, 23) em relação ao eixo de manivela (15) e então empurrar para frente ou deferir o tempo de abertura e fechamento de ao menos uma válvula de entrada e/ou uma válvula de exaustão. O dispositivo de troca de fase (29) é conectado a um acumulador (60) que pode ser carregado por uma bomba de óleo (6). A pressão do óleo pode ser aumentada com a ajuda de um cilindro controlado por meio de pressão (71) antes ou durante um processo de troca de fase.
