Abstract
Modalidades da presente invenção incluem um novo processo contínuo ou semi-contínuo que resulta na melhoria parcial ou total do óleo pesado. A melhoria do óleo pesado é um resultado do aquecimento térmico do óleo em um intervalo onde ocorrem viscorredução, reduzindo assim a viscosidade do óleo pesado. O núcleo do passo de aquecimento ocorre através de um aparelho de aquecimento do tipo de leito fixo, incluindo materiais superparamagnéticos, paramagnéticos e / ou magnéticos.
