Trata-se de um método que fornece um produto de pó fluido livre solúvel em água e reconstituível que inclui grãos de chia fluidos livres não oleosos e não mucilaginosos que têm um tamanho aproximadamente entre 80 e 90 micra, uma faixa de pH entre 6,5 e 7,5, umidade média de 3% e um valor em Centipoise aproximadamente entre 1.000 e 1.500 cp (1 e 1,5 Pa.s), que revertem para um tamanho submicrônico quando suspensos dentro de uma solução aquosa.
