Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição farmacêutica compreendendo, como ingrediente ativo, um ácido carboxílico ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável do mesmo para uso na melhora da função de barreira da pele, em que a composição farmacêutica é administrada a uma criança pequena. A invenção também se refere a um método para tratamento e/ou prevenção de uma doença de pele de um paciente, o método compreendendo administrar uma quantidade eficaz de um ácido carboxílico ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável do mesmo a um paciente em necessidade do mesmo.
