Abstract

Complexos, composições, artigos de manufatura, e método para preparar os mesmos são aqui fornecidos. Em uma modalidade, um complexo de borato-poliol pode ser preparado pela reação de um composto contendo boro e um poliol para formar uma mistura de reação e então neutralização da mistura de reação para formar um complexo de borato-poliol neutralizado. O complexo de borato-poliol neutralizado pode ser, então, usado em combinação com resinas poliméricas para formar produtos adesivos, dentre outros produtos materiais, cujos produtos podem estar em artigos de manufatura.
