Trata-se de um aparelho de cozimento por fritura a ar. O mesmo compreende uma câmara (2), um aquecedor (3) disposto na câmara (2) para aquecer o ar na câmara (2), um ventilador (4) disposto na câmara (2) e que é giratório para circular o ar aquecido na câmara (2) para cozinhar o alimento na câmara (2) em um modo de cozimento. O ventilador (4) é giratório a uma velocidade de não menos que 2.500 rpm para gerar um fluxo de ar circulante dentro da câmara em um modo de limpeza de modo que o ar flua através de uma superfície de uma quantidade de fluido de limpeza (8) introduzida no fundo da câmara (2) para arrastar o fluido de limpeza no fluxo de ar circulante para limpar a câmara (2).
