Trata-se de um método para desinfetar lentes de contato, incluindo imergir as lentes de contato em um volume de agente de limpeza com peróxido de hidrogênio a cerca de 3% por até 4 horas, e imergir até 0,7 g de um material acentuador catalisador fibroso no volume de agente de limpeza por até 4 horas. O material acentuador catalisador fibroso é imerso simultaneamente às lentes de contato.
