A invenção divulga um regulador de crescimento de plantas altamente resistentes ao estresse e um método de preparação e uso dos mesmos. Em particular, o composto fornecido pela presente invenção é um substituto de ABA para melhorar significativamente a resistência das plantas ao estresse e, portanto, tem uma perspectiva de aplicação muito ampla.
