Abstract
A presente invenção se refere a métodos e composições para identificar, selecionar e/ou produzir uma planta ou germoplasma com raiz com aumento de tolerância à seca e/ou aumento de rendimento sob condições de não seca, em comparação com uma planta de controle. Uma planta, parte da mesma e/ou germoplasma de milho, incluindo qualquer progênie e/ou sementes derivadas de uma planta ou germoplasma de milho identificado, selecionado e/ou produzido por qualquer um dos métodos da presente invenção é também proporcionada.
