Um atuador de válvula é descrito que compreende um pistão (22) móvel dentro de um cilindro (24), um membro de suporte de pino indicador (46) móvel com o pistão (22) e um pino indicador (52) afixado ao membro de suporte (46) e que se estende através de uma abertura (50) provida em um alojamento (44), em que o pino indicador (52) inclui uma região de afixação retida cativa no membro de suporte (46), a região de afixação se estendendo através de uma fenda arqueada (54) formada no membro de suporte (46). Também é descrita uma válvula incorporando tal atuador.
