Abstract
A presente invenção se refere a compósitos compreendendo uma matriz grafítica porosa fibrosa contendo mesoporos com um tamanho médio de entre 2 e 50 nm, e microporos com um tamanho médio de menos de 2 nm, e enxofre elementar posicionado dentro dos poros da matriz porosa. A invenção também se refere a processos para o preparo do compósito incluindo métodos físicos e químicos bem como métodos mecânicos usando condições secas e úmidas. Os compósitos descritos são particularmente úteis em eletrodos para baterias de lítio-enxofre.
