Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema (5, 405) para infundir medicação em uma pessoa. O sistema (5, 405) inclui um sistema de injeção (50, 450) para controlar o fluxo de fluido de um reservatório de fluido para uma agulha. Um sensor (20) detecta uma característica indicativa da pressão de fluido na agulha. O sistema de injeção (50, 450) controla o fluxo de fluido para a agulha em resposta à característica detectada pelo sensor (20), que continuamente detecta a característica à medida que a agulha é inserida no indivíduo. O sistema pode incluir uma montagem de luz (100) conectada com o sistema de injeção. A montagem de luz (100) pode prover um sinal continuamente variável indicativo da pressão de fluido na agulha. O sistema (5, 405) pode ainda prover um mecanismo que provê dicas para o operado inserir a agulha em uma taxa específica. O sistema pode ainda incluir um elemento condutivo (334) para prover estimulação elétrica nervosa.
