Abstract
É descrito um processo para a preparação de (E)-(5,6-dihidro-1,4,2-dioxazin-3-il)(2-hidroxifenil)metanona O-metiloximaque inclui: (i) reagir benzofurano-3(2H)-ona O-metiloxima (1) com pelo menos um nitrito selecionado a partir denitrito de n-butila e nitrito de terc-butila, na presença deum alcóxido de metal para formar (2Z,3Z)-2,3-benzofuran-dionaO3-metil dioxima (2) como o isômero predominante; (ii) reagira (2Z,3Z)-2,3-benzofuran-diona O3-metil dioxima (2) com 2-haloetanol para formar (2Z,3Z)-benzofuran-2,3-diona O2-(2-hidroxietil) O3 -metil dioxima (3); e (iii) reagir a (2Z,3Z)-benzofuran-2,3-diona O2-(2-hidroxietil) O3 -metil dioxima (3)com um ácido para formar (E)-(5,6-di-hidro-1,4,2-dioxazin-3-il)(2-hidroxifenil)metanona O-metil oxima (4)
