Abstract
Trata-se de uma armadilha para imobilizar, matar ou conter artrópodes que compreende um alojamento que tem paredes e pelo menos uma abertura, sendo que as paredes definem um espaço interior; e uma fonte de luz que compreende uma fonte de luz direcional montada no espaço interior. A fonte de luz é construída para emitir luz em um ou mais comprimentos de onda na faixa de 350 a 500 nm. A fonte de luz está posicionada de modo que a maior parte da luz emitida a partir da fonte de luz seja direcionada a uma ou mais superfícies no espaço interior. A armadilha também compreende um elemento de supressão montado no espaço interior e construído para imobilizar, matar ou conter artrópode.
