Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição cosmética que compreende um agente antipoluição selecionado do grupo que consiste em extrato de CO2 da raiz de gengibre, E/Z-2-benzilindeno-5,6-dimetóxi-3,3-dimetilindan-1-ona, esclerolide, suco prensado de echinacia roxa, ou em misturas dos mesmos, em uma quantidade de trabalho suficiente para (a) reduzir ou impedir a expressão de gene induzida pela poluição do ar, e/ou (b) reduzir ou impedir uma expressão de gene induzida ou induzível por hidrocarbonetos aromáticos policíclicos, e/ou (c) reduzir ou impedir danos à pele induzidos pela poluição do ar ou induzíveis pela poluição do ar.
