PLANTA COM CAPTAÃÃO ACRESCIDA DE SILÃCIO.A invenÃ§Ã£o se relaciona com sequÃªncias de Ã¡cidos nucleicos que definem uma regiÃ£o genÃ´mica conferindo elevado acÃºmulo de silÃcio (Si) como descoberto em soja (Glycine max) cultivar Hikmok sorip. Plantas tendo esta regiÃ£o, denominada HiSil, introduzida em seu Ã¡cido nucleico exibem captaÃ§Ã£o acrescida de Si. Adicionalmente, sÃ£o proporcionados marcadores associados a acÃºmulo elevado de Si e mÃ©todos de identificaÃ§Ã£o de plantas com acÃºmulo elevado de Si usando os marcadores. 0 mÃ©todo proporcionado pela invenÃ§Ã£o pode ser usado para desenvolver novas plantas com elevada capacidade de acÃºmulo de Si, atravÃ©s de melhoramento, modificaÃ§Ã£o genÃ©tica ou quaisquer outras formas de propagaÃ§Ã£o de plantas.
