Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um aço de alta resistência que compreende, durante a têmpera intercrítica, cerca de 20-80% em volume de ferrita e 20-80% de austenita e em que a temperatura de Ms calculada para a fase de austenita durante a têmpera intercrítica é =100°C. O aço de alta resistência exibe um alongamento tensional de pelo menos 20% e uma resistência tensional final de pelo menos 880 MPa. O aço de alta resistência pode compreender 0,20-0,30% em peso de C, 3,0-5,0% em peso de Mn, com adições de Al e Si de forma que a temperatura intercrítica ideal esteja acima de 700°C.
