Abstract

Aqui revelados são métodos e composições para produzir grânulos compostos compreendendo um núcleo compreendendo: minério de ferro e um agente redutor carbonáceo; e um revestimento compreendendo: minério de ferro; e tendo uma transição de núcleo e revestimento em uma forma tal que nenhum limite visível existe entre o núcleo e o revestimento em um corte transversal do grânulo. Os métodos podem ser utilizados para produzir grânulos compostos com produtividade e qualidade melhorada, e os grânulos compostos resultantes podem ser utilizados para produzir redução direta do ferro (DRI).
