Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a implantes de córnea reversivelmente deformáveis para substituir o tecido da córnea excisado, em que os implantes incluem uma porção óptica e uma porção de fixação que têm propriedades mecânicas diferentes uma da outra. A presente invenção supera pelo menos alguns dos problemas observados acima com córneas artificiais anteriores. Em algumas modalidades, as córneas artificiais são feitas para serem implantadas dentro das lamelas da córnea sem penetração na câmara anterior do olho.
