Fontes de luz composta e métodos usam uma fonte de luz composta pobre em azul que emite a primeira luz substancialmente branca e uma fonte de luz composta rica em azul que emite a segunda luz substancialmente branca. A segunda luz substancialmente branca tem uma maior temperatura de cor correlacionada do que a primeira luz substancialmente branca. A primeira e a segunda luzes substancialmente brancas combinam para fornecer a luz substancialmente intermediária branca quente.
