A presente invenção refere-se a compostos derivados heterocÃclicos substituÃdos, composições compreendendo os referidos compostos, e a utilização dos referidos compostos e composições para a regulação epigenética por inibição do reconhecimento mediado por regiões bromodomÃnio de acetil de usina de proteas, tais como histonas. As referidas composições e métodos são úteis para o tratamento de câncer e doença neoplásica.
