Trata-se de um poliol de poliéter que contém resíduo de catalisador complexo de cianeto metálico compósito, em que o dito poliol de poliéter tem uma funcionalidade na faixa de 2,9 a 4,5, um índice de hidroxila na faixa de 28 a 42 e que contém na faixa de 8 a 60% em peso de porções químicas de óxido de etileno distribuídas aleatoriamente através das cadeias de poliéter.
