A invenção se refere a um sutiã (10) adaptado para uso esportivo, do tipo que compreende uma primeira taça (12a) e uma segunda taça (12b), em que cada uma das mesmas é delimitada lateralmente por uma borda externa (14a, 14b) e por uma borda interna (16a, 16b) e equipada com uma estrutura de sustentação e uma estrutura-base, distinguido pelo fato de que cada taça (12a, 12b) é equipada com uma estrutura de sustentação conectada a uma estrutura-base, sendo que a estrutura de sustentação compreende pelo menos uma primeira tira de sustentação (25a, 25b) de formato geralmente bojudo que é elasticamente deformável e que se estende pelo menos da borda externa (14a, 14b) até a borda interna (16a, 16b) da taça associada (12a, 12b) para sustentar o seio.
