Abstract
Um combustível diesel e mistura de aditivo é útil para reduzir emissões de material particulado enquanto melhora ou pelo menos não agrava estabilidade oxidativa durante a combustão. O aditivo inclui pelo menos um composto tendo uma fórmula geral selecionado do grupo que consiste de: (1) e combinações dos mesmos, em que: R é um hidrocarboneto saturado ou insaturado tendo de cerca de 1 a cerca de 6 carbonos. O aditivo é efetivo em diesel em concentrações tão baixas quanto cerca de 50 a cerca de 1000 ppm em peso.
