Abstract
Composições poliméricas compreendendo uma mistura de polietileno de alta densidade ("HDPE") com etileno vinil acetato ("EVA") e, opcionalmente, com um negro de fumo e/ou um ou mais aditivos, em que as composições poliméricas possuem determinadas faixas de índice de fusão e de vinil acetato para melhorar a resistência à fusão e a processabilidade. Tais composições poliméricas podem ser empregadas na fabricação de condutores revestidos, tais como cabos de fibra óptica.
