A presente invenção se refere a um microcomplexo contendo uma nanopartícula modificada adsorvida em uma micropartícula hospedeira e a um processo para obtê-lo. O microcomplexo é particularmente útil para fotoepilação. A presente invenção também se refere a uma composição contendo o microcomplexo e ao método para fotoepilação aprimorada com base nos microcomplexos.
