São fornecidos expansores de tecido implantáveis em humanos, tais como expansores de tecido mamário, que compreendem um enchimento de espuma interno envolvido por um compartimento preenchido com líquido e ainda dentro de um invólucro de vedação compreendendo uma camada restritora de expansão elástica substancialmente não esticável. A camada restritora de expansão elástica substancialmente não esticável é configurada para reter uma forma e/ou volume do referido enchimento de espuma após mudanças de pressão e/ou temperatura ambiente.
